My Story: The Bamboo Hustle Origin
“They told me I couldn’t do it. So I did it for everyone who felt like they couldn’t.”
I was born in the fire. Raised in North Miami/Miami Gardens in the '80s and early '90s—packed into a three-bedroom house with 11 other souls, no A/C in a multicolored Datsun, and no safety net. My parents came from a life of dignity but had to start over in this country—from cleaning homes to selling pots and pans. My father gave up being a respected journalist to paint cars in back-alley shops. My mother took any job to keep food on the table.
We didn’t have much, but we had fight.
I was labeled everything—ADHD, dyslexic, hyperactive, ESOL. School told me I wasn’t built for success. So I turned to the streets for belonging. I joined a gang. I stole. I painted graffiti downtown and sold narcotics like that was my destiny. I lived the underdog story the hard way.
But deep inside, I was a builder. I sold designs. I rocked stages in front of crowds. I started businesses—but I also saw them crash. I faced betrayal, loss, depression. My own business partners told me to kill myself. I almost did.
Until one voice changed everything: Jim Rohn.
He said: “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”

That’s when I picked up Think and Grow Rich… and it picked me up.
I read it five times that year. I found my voice. I found healing. I found philosophy. That’s when I became G the Humble Beast—and that’s when the Bamboo Philosophy was born.
Because bamboo doesn’t grow fast at first—it builds roots.
Now I run multiple companies, build AI tools for bettering humanity, and mentor the next generation of underdogs like me.
